Sarah J. Crone, 41, Danville, Illinois died at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, November 23, at Lakeview Medical Center from injuries she received after being hit by a car.
She was born April 17, 1942 in Attica, the daughter of William and Esther Olson Knowles. She married James Crone on April 17, 1978, who survives.
Other survivors include two daughters, Donna Leeann Crone of Danville, and Nancy Crone of Scottsville, Kentucky; five sons, Jimmy and Stevie Crone, both of Scottsville, and Kevin, Mark and Jeff Mitton all of Attica; four sisters, Mrs. Anna Kirts of Indianapolis, Betty Knowles of Danville, Mrs. Eleanor Hall of Attica, and Mrs. Vera Burke of Lafayette; five brothers, William and Russell Knowles, both of Lafayette, Larry Knowles of Mooresville, Marvin Knowles of Gary and Glenn Knowles of St. Louis. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
Services were conducted Saturday at Barrick and Son Funeral Home in Danville with Rev. Charles Jacobs officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery in Attica. – thanks to S
